Dr Artiene Tatian, MBBS, BAdvSc (Chem), MIndigHlth, GAICD, FRACI, FACD Specialist Dermatologist

Artiene (Artie) Tatian is a specialist dermatologist with extensive experience in adult and paediatric dermatology. He obtained his medical degree from Western Sydney University with multiple academic awards and completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Advanced Pharmaceutical Chemistry with Distinction. He obtained his specialist qualification from the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Artiene holds several prestigious specialist dermatologist positions at tertiary teaching hospitals including Sydney Children’s, Liverpool and Campbelltown Hospitals

Artiene has a special interest in rare disease and is the dermatology lead for the paediatric epidermolysis bullosa service for NSW and ACT and is a member of the vascular anomalies team at Sydney Children’s Hospital.

Dr Artiene Tatian is actively involved in scientific, clinical and translational research and has received multiple grants and awards acknowledging his work. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (FRACI) highlighting his extensive chemistry experience which he combines in his clinical and research practice. Dr Tatian serves on the editorial board for the Australasian Journal of Dermatology (AJD) and the Journal European Academy of Dermatology and Venerology (JEADV) Clinical Practice. He is also a board member of the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia. Dr Artiene Tatian contributes to medical training and education with over a decade and ongoing involvement with the Australian Medical Council.

Dr Tatian is a Staff Specialist at The Sydney Childrens Hospital (Randwick), Liverpool Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital and mentors/supervises junior doctors.
